В настоящей книге речь пойдет об истории развития эндоваскулярной хирургии и технологии производства стентов, начиная с постановки научно-технической задачи, и заканчивая юридическими тонкостями организации всего процесса. Впервые будут продемонстрированы этапы проектирования и оптимизации конструкции, создание заготовок, изготовления и обработки заготовок и контроль качества по современным стандартам на примере сосудистого стента, разработанного группой отечественных ученых, инженеров и практикующих врачей-хирургов.
